Frequently Asked Questions
In June 2023, CU Denver will be expanding the Adobe license options available and these new licenses will replace the current license. There will now be the choice of Adobe Express or Adobe Creative Cloud.
Current Adobe Creative Cloud users will need to ensure all data saved to the Creative Cloud is downloaded to their OneDrive or other personal storage by June 1, 2023. We strongly recommend OneDrive due to storage capacity. All data that is saved on the Creative Cloud will be lost if not downloaded to a personal device, this information will not be retrievable.
To gain access to the new Adobe license, you will need to complete the request form on the OIT Adobe tool detail webpage.
The license agreement is expiring and is not renewable. CU Denver took this opportunity to assess the needs of the campus and to renegotiate the contract based on those findings.
The account you currently use will be deleted; this includes all data stored on the Adobe Creative Cloud. Students will not automatically receive access to an Adobe license, it will need to be requested using the form on the OIT Adobe tool detail webpage. Adobe Creative Cloud requests will go through approval by administration.
No, all current licenses will expire. You will need to follow the new process to request an account. Your current account will be deleted in June 2023 and if you have data saved on the Adobe Creative Cloud Service, it will be lost. Any of the Adobe products can be installed on up to 3 devices for a single license such as a work laptop, a work tablet, and a phone for the same user.
This is for one user and is not able to be shared across multiple users. Each user will need their own license and need to download to their individual devices.
